Farmers shared insights on olive cultivation at Al Moutmir community of practice event

On the 26^th of December, Al Moutmir organized a community of practice event focused on olive trees, bringing together over 50 participants, including farmers, cooperatives, experts, researchers, agronomists, input and technology suppliers, start-ups, and financial and insurance partners.

The event emphasized the resilience of olive trees as a crop, highlighting progress in varietal selection, acreage expansion, and yield improvement. Participants shared experiences and ideas on topics such as new crop varieties, agricultural practices, technical itineraries, and fertilizer formulas. Presentations, debates, and workshops facilitated discussions on the challenges and opportunities within the olive tree sector.
