The first edition of the Youth Tech Challenge Africa (YTCA 2024) organized at UM6P

As part of the Africa Bridge dynamics, UM6P, in partnership with the Cameroon Youth School Tech Incubator (CAYSTI), presents the first edition of the Youth Tech Challenge Africa (YTCA 2024). This event gathers young talents from Morocco and Cameroon who are passionate about robotics and technology.

The participants are advancing with their prototyping efforts. They have also conducted several activities that complement the competition, including a cultural day, movie night, football matches, and other activities. These events have strengthened the bond between participants, showcasing the power of diversity and inclusivity across the African continent.

This initiative, led by UM6p And CAYSTI, has been supported by Bridge Africa, with the contributions of various entities within UM6P, including 1337, GTI, AgriTech, CAES, StatGate, Mahir Center, the Sports Department, the Learning Center, and the Operations and Communications Departments.

We are continuing our work on the prototypes, with the goal of presenting them to the jury on August 8th.
