The African Institute for Sustainable Agriculture Research in Laayoune launches the first edition of the Workshop "Valorization and Promotion of Aromatic and Medicinal Plants of the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra Region"
The African Institute for Sustainable Agriculture Research (ASARI) of l'UM6P in Laayoune, organized the first edition of the Workshop "Valorization and Promotion of Aromatic and Medicinal Plants of the Region of Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra" on December 14 and 15, 2021, in partnership with the Phosboucraâ Foundation.
This workshop was organized within the framework of the project "Valorization of indigenous species of the Region of Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra through the production of molecules with high added value for cosmetic purposes and well-being. This Workshop, which is part of the project "Valorization of indigenous species of the Region of Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra by the production of molecules with high added value for cosmetic purposes and well-being", aims to highlight the wealth of the region of Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra in local products, especially in aromatic and medicinal plants. For years, the exploitation of this wealth conferred by the Saharan ecosystem has often been done in a non-optimal way.
