AIRESS addressed governance challenges during a two-day workshop
This week, the Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences (AIRESS) organized at UM6P Campus in Rabat a two-day workshop on Reconceptualizing African States, focusing on state fragmentation and governance challenges in Africa.
The event included presentations on the special issue State Fragility and Fragmentation in Africa published by the African Conflict and Peacebuilding Review. Discussions addressed topics such as the legacy of colonialism, peacebuilding efforts, and resource management dynamics. A roundtable session offered an opportunity to refine these contributions and explore collaborative initiatives aimed at improving governance across the continent.
