ASARI organized the first edition of the International Conference on Camelids

From the 14^th to the 16^th of October, the African Sustainable Agriculture Research Institute (ASARI) organized, in collaboration with Phosboucraa Foundation, the International Conference on Camelids within the University’s branche in Laayoune.

The 3-days conference underscored the vital role of camels in sustainable development, bringing together experts to discuss innovative breeding and health management techniques that enhance productivity and animal welfare. 

Participants emphasized the importance of collaboration among stakeholders, including researchers and policymakers, to foster effective management practices that not only support economic growth but also respect the cultural heritage of communities reliant on these remarkable animals
