Biochar-based solutions discussed during CAES X-CHANGE seminar

On the 25^th of March, the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES) held a seminar titled “Circular Bionutrient Economy: Biochar-Based Fertilizer for Nutrient Recycling” at UM6P Campus in Benguerir, as part of the CAES X-CHANGE series.

The session featured Professor Johannes Lehmann from Cornell University, who presented his research on biochar-based solutions for sustainable nutrient management and soil improvement. The seminar explored innovations in nutrient recycling and the role of circular systems in transforming agricultural practices.
