Circular economy workshop held under SWITCH2CE project on plastic packaging transition

The Executive Education held a Training of Trainers session on transitioning to a circular economy for plastic packaging in Morocco as part of the international project Switch to Circular Economy Value Chains, co-financed by the European Union and the Government of Finland, at UM6P Campus in Rabat.

The project is implemented in Morocco by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in partnership with the Circle Economy Foundation and the European Investment Bank, in coordination with Morocco’s Ministry of Industry and Trade. Mr. Zakaria Hachlaf, Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, opened the session, underlining the importance of national priorities related to the circular economy. Representatives from the EU Delegation, the Finnish Embassy, and UNIDO Morocco also attended the event.
