Dairy goat and poultry project discussed with communities in Al Haouz

On the 8^th of April, the ReBuild program team, in collaboration with the Global Diversity Foundation (GDF), carried out a field assessment as part of the implementation of a dairy goat and poultry farming project in the Talat N’Yacoub commune. The initiative aims to support over 100 rural families affected by the Al Haouz earthquake.

The mission included meetings with local authorities and village representatives from Ighil, Tifni, and Wawizelte to evaluate the project’s social and economic feasibility in light of recent changes in the region. Field visits were also conducted to identify local needs and propose a context-specific project that can enhance community resilience.

The upcoming phase will focus on analyzing the findings to adapt the project accordingly and ensure it aligns with the priorities of the local communities.
