FGSES and PCNS explored regional integration with Italian diplomats and experts
On the 21st of January, The Faculty of Governance, Economics and Social Sciences(FGSES) and the Policy Center for the New South (PCNS) held a roundtable at its headquarters, within the University’s Campus in rabat, with a delegation from the Italian Chamber of Deputies’ Committee on Foreign and EU Affairs.
The visit was marked by the presence of Armando Barucco, Ambassador of Italy to Morocco, Irene Asquini, First Secretary, and Marco Leone, Embassy Counselor. The discussion focused on “The Wider Atlantic Initiative: Towards Regional Integration and Economic Transformation,” with an emphasis on Morocco’s Royal initiative for the Atlantic.
PCNS experts shared perspectives on regional integration and economic transformation in the Sahel region, addressing strategies to reintegrate the region into global supply chains and support sustainable development.
