Geospatial analytics experts convened at UM6P-MIT climate monitoring workshop
On the 19th of May, the Center for Remote Sensing Applications (CRSA), in collaborations with MIT's Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences, organized a Workshop on Earth Observation for Assessing Climate Impacts Across Africa at UM6P Campus in Benguerir.
The event was part of the African Geospatial Data Portal Framework for Science, Capacity-Building, and Decision-Making Purposes (AfEOP) project. The list of speakers included professors and experts from MIT, University of Valencia, French National institute for Agricultural, food and Environmental Research (INRAE), Paris-Est Sup, and the Institute of Research for Development. The workshop hosted Participants from universities in Tunisia, Senegal, Burkina Faso, and Morocco.
