The German Federal Minister Mrs. Svenja Schulze visiting GEP

Last week, UM6P Green Energy Park was honored to host Mrs. Svenja Schulze – German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, accompanied by a delegation from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit ( GIZ ).  

During the visit, the members of the delegation discovered GEP's activities, infrastructure, and projects in the field of renewable energies and energy efficiency. They were able de explore various facilities including PV testing infrastructure, Concentrated Solar Power plants, and the Hydrogen & Power-to-X Micro Pilot Unit.

In this framework, fruitful discussions revolved around the role of research and development in Morocco's Energy Transition and the ever-evolving Moroccan-German cooperation
