OCP Nutricrops representatives visited UM6P to strengthen research-business ties

On the 17th of January, the College of Agriculture & Environmental Sciences (CAES) welcomed Mr. Youssef El Bari, Chairman & CEO of OCP Nutricrops, along with senior representatives to UM6P Campus in Benguerir.

The visit aimed to explore ways to connect agricultural research at UM6P with practical business applications. The delegation toured facilities including CAES, the African Genome Center, and the Pheno-MA Phenotyping Platform, highlighting UM6P’s advanced research capabilities in sustainable agriculture.

Discussions focused on aligning UM6P’s scientific expertise with OCP Nutricrops’ business needs to address challenges in agriculture and foster impactful collaborations.
