Participants engaged in pottery techniques during OMAC’s weekly session
On the 24th of December, as part of OMAC’s weekly pottery sessions, a pottery workshop was held within the University’s campus in Benguerir to help participants explore artistic expression and develop modeling techniques. The hands-on experience allowed students and staff to engage in the creative process, emphasizing imagination and mindfulness.
Throughout the workshop, participants worked with clay and learned hand-building techniques under the guidance of an artist. They gained an understanding of the patience and focus required to shape and complete a ceramic piece, using art as a form of self-expression and personal growth.
The session ended with a display of participants’ creations, sharing their efforts and ideas with peers. The workshop emphasized attention to detail, perseverance, and focus—qualities applicable to various learning contexts and aligned with OMAC’s approach to comprehensive personal development.
