School of Collective Intelligence animated a MasterClass for the Senegalese Agency for Reforestation and the Great Green Wall

Last week, the Executive Director of the UM6P School of Collective Intelligence led a MasterClass on 3 days session for the Senegalese Agency for Reforestation and the Great Green, with the support of the OCP Foundation. This was SCI’s first in-person executive program in sub-saharan Africa.

Fighting desertification and building resilience against climate change is a classic “wicked problem”, requiring new forms of collaboration, decision-making, and collective learning with local populations. From problem definition and deconstruction to methods of knowledge visualization, power mapping and divergent thinking, these are the elements discussed during this session.
