Students participated in the « Tournoi International Universitaire des Échecs »

From the 17th to 20th of April, students took part in the first edition of the Tournoi International Universitaire des Échecs, hosted by ISMAGI in Rabat. The tournament brought together university players and national-level participants from across Morocco.

UM6P’s team included Imane Rahali, a 4th-year student at the College of Computing, who shared second place in the Blitz category, and Ayoub Lamghari, a 2nd-year student at 1337 Coding School, who placed 4th overall and shared first place in Blitz. The students were supported by Mr. Yahya Ichakdi from UM6P Student Affairs, who also plays professionally and provided guidance during the event.
