The call for applications for the 2nd cohort was open from March 8th to April 18th, 2023, attracting more than 2500 applications from across Africa out of which 644 have passed the first filter of criteria. Through a rigorous selection process, 82 highly qualified candidates were preselected for the next phase. The selected candidates will benefit from financial support covering their research expenses for the duration of their doctoral studies, as well as co-supervision from an EPFL Professor and will be invited to a summer school organized by UM6P. The program aims to foster innovation, build research capacity, and contribute to the sustainable development of Africa.
We congratulate the successful candidates and look forward to their contribution to the African scientific research community.
