UM6P and French institutions initiated collaboration in sustainable metallurgy
The MSN Department and UM6P France held a workshop to initiate scientific cooperation between Morocco and France in the fields of metallurgy, innovative surface treatments, and cross-disciplinary research at UM6P offices in Paris
The initiative brought together the University of Lorraine, Mines ParisTech, and UM6P teams to explore collaborative opportunities. Discussions focused on the development of advanced materials and sustainable processes for the energy sector, with a focus on sustainable metallurgy, high-performance alloys, and surface treatments for harsh environments. The collaboration aims to strengthen innovation and competitiveness in metallurgical technologies supporting energy transition.
This initiative forms part of UM6P’s broader approach to Global Scientific Engagement, supporting international research collaboration and talent development.
