UM6P and OCP Foundation advanced carbon solutions through ACFP workshop

On the 19th of March, the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, in partnership with the OCP Foundation, launched the Morocco Project Design Workshop at UM6P Campus in Benguerir, as part of the Africa Carbon Flagship Program (ACFP).

This first sprint included a Theory of Change webinar, expert presentations, and collaborative sessions to identify environmental challenges and design carbon solutions. Participants worked across three thematic zones: biomass innovations in Oasis Zones, argan agroforestry in Argan Zones, and ecosystem restoration financing in the High Atlas. The workshop laid the groundwork for context-specific, community-driven climate action.
