UM6P engaged in discussions on smart campus development and AI integration

On the 18th of February, UM6P hosted the Smart Campus Workshop at its Benguerir campus, aligning with the Vision 2030 of an innovative university committed to sustainable development in Morocco and Africa. The workshop brought together experts and partners to explore AI-driven solutions for optimizing resources and managing a smart, sustainable campus.

Discussions focused on the intelligent management of energy, water, and mobility, integrating advanced technologies to enhance efficiency while ensuring a better experience for students, researchers, and visitors. A key topic was the development of a Digital Twin, a real-time model of the campus enabling continuous simulation, analysis, and optimization through AI and data analytics.

The event also marked the signing of an MoU with NVIDIA and DELL for the implementation of an AI-driven Smart Campus pilot project. This initiative aims to establish UM6P as a model for smart, sustainable, and inclusive campuses, combining advanced technologies with responsible resource management to enhance its academic, social, and economic environments.
