UM6P hosted the President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Mr. Fernando Clavijo Batlle

On the 25th of October, UM6P welcomed a diplomatic delegation from the Canary Islands, led by the President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Mr. Fernando Clavijo Batlle, accompanied by several representatives from the Government and Canary Islands public universities.

The visit, centered around innovation, research, and entrepreneurship, provided an opportunity to explore collaborative pathways between UM6P and institutions in the Canary Islands. During the visit, Mr. Fernando Clavijo Batlle also delivered a speech expressing collaboration perspectives between Canary Islands institutions and UM6P, in several areas including Energy, Water and Health. This conference was attended by officials from Canary Islands as well as representatives from the corporate and the scientific community of the University.
