UM6P launched the Center for Applied System Analysis (CASA)

UM6P officially launched the Center for Applied System Analysis (CASA), a strategic research initiative hosted within the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES). Endorsed by the CAES Research Committee, CASA will serve as a collaborative platform to address complex agricultural, environmental, and development challenges through a systemic and interdisciplinary approach.

Aligned with UM6P’s vision for integrated, impact-driven research, CASA will promote cross-campus collaboration with entities such as SAP+D, the School of Collective Intelligence, the Faculty of Medicine, Africa Business School, and the UJALA-JPAL behavioral science initiative.

The center will support applied systems research, integrated project design, academic development, and global partnerships. It also aims to strengthen UM6P’s international positioning in systems science, while grounding its work in the African context.
