UM6P Local Debate Competition showcased multilingual debating skills
On the 25th of March, the Outloud Student Club in collaboration with Student Organizations, Leadership & Engagement (SOLE) organized the UM6P Local Debate Competition within the University’s Campus in Benguerir.
The event followed the World Schools Debating Championships (WSDC) format, providing a structured and internationally recognized framework for debate. Preparatory sessions on March 21, 22, and 23 familiarized participants with the WSDC format and essential debating techniques. The competition was conducted in Arabic, French, and English, allowing students to debate in their preferred language and effectively showcase their skills.
