Launch of a Call for Projects in Technology Transfer "TechTransfer-Edition 2021

The Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research - Department of Higher Education and Scientific Research -, the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Green and Digital Economy the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research, the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property, the OCP Foundation and the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, announce the launch of a Call for Projects in Technology Transfer "TechTransfer-Edition 2021".

This call for projects is multi-thematic and concerns the following priority areas

  • Health, environment and quality of life;
  • Agriculture, agri-food industry, fisheries and water;
  • Aeronautics and automotive industry, transport, logistics and advanced technologies;
  • Natural resources and renewable energy;
  • Educational technologies;
  • Humanities and contemporary challenges of the Moroccan society.

This Call for Proposals aims to promote the research results developed by Moroccan researchers, by mobilizing a budget of 60 million dirhams.

In its 1st edition 2021, this Call for Projects - whose administrative and financial management is provided by the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic - aims in particular to :

  • Contribute to the development of a national economy based on innovation and technology transfer;
  • Contribute to the rapprochement between the academic world and the industrial sector and improve the competitiveness of Moroccan companies;
  • To accompany researchers in the development and technological maturation for the commercialization of processes, products or services resulting from research results;
  • Design prototypes for industrialization and promote national production and preference;
  • To promote the culture of valorization of research results within the academic world;
  • To encourage applied research and innovation.

 

 

 

The implementation of the call for projects will take place according to the following schedule:

  • Launch of the call for projects on Tuesday, March 16, 2021;
  • Information webinar on March 26, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
  • Submission of pre-projects from March 26 to April 25, 2021 on the platform of the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research accessible via the following link [https://call.cnrst.ma] ;

Thus, the partners commit themselves, with the support of the OCP Foundation, to deploy the means required for the success of this first operation, in order to raise Morocco to the rank of the great nations in terms of innovation resulting from research.
