N2 Conference addressed the noosphere and challenges for the Global South

From the 16^th to the 18^th of December, 2024, the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P), through its Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS) and in partnership with Human Energy, held the second edition of the N2 Conference at the Benguerir campus, focusing on the theme “The Noosphere and the Global South.”

The event brought together 33 speakers from diverse disciplines to address topics such as the challenges and opportunities for the Global South, sustainability in the noosphere, the convergence of science and spirituality, and youth leadership. Morocco’s strategic position and UM6P’s commitment to research and innovation provided a fitting context for discussions on transitions in societal and technological domains.

Guided by two questions, “Why are we here?” and “What do we stand for?”, participants reflected on shared values and responses to contemporary challenges.
