A training program focusing on agricultural mechanization set up by AAIT in Togo
To launch a new generation of well-trained farmers able to lead a revolution in the agricultural sector, a training program focusing on agricultural mechanization has been launched by the Togolese government, in partnership with OCP Africa.
Developed in collaboration with UM6P through the African Academy of Industrial Training (AAIT), this project is designed to equip farmers with the skills and tools they need to boost their productivity and profitability. This first phase of the project involves 120 participants, with 100 tractor operator candidates and 20 maintenance candidates, divided into two groups of 60 members.
This initiative aims to make Togolese agriculture a more prosperous sector, where mechanization will play a key role in achieving food self-sufficiency and sustainable economic growth.
