UM6P and OCP Group taking part in the 16th edition of the International Agricultural Exhibition in Morocco – Meknes

Under the High Patronage of His Majesty the King of Morocco, Mohammed VI, the 16^th edition of the International Agricultural Exhibition in Morocco (SIAM) is held in the imperial city of Meknes, from the 22^nd to the 28^th of April. As part of this edition, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic and OCP Group are among the participants of this year's event, highlighting their commitment to the field of agriculture which remains strategic for the national economy. 

This year, with Spain as the guest of honor, the event embraces the timely theme: "Climate and Agriculture: For Sustainable and Resilient Production Systems." This theme underscores the urgent need for agricultural systems that not only withstand climatic changes but also contribute to the environmental health of our planet. 

UM6P, through its College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences and other entities, is showcasing its latest projects and collaborations that address the pressing challenges posed by climate change in Morocco and Africa. Through its participation, the University aims to highlight its commitment to innovative solutions that foster sustainable development and resilience in African agriculture, UM6P’s mission to contribute to the continent's agricultural sector.
