The UM6P Green Energy Park won an innovation award in the spotlight of iSmart
On the sidelines of the Africa21 Forum that started this Tuesday, February 21 in Casablanca, the Green Energy Park was honored through the start-up iSmart, which has designed and produced a charging station for electric vehicles 100% Moroccan.
iSmart has indeed received the Africa21 Forum's innovation award for its smart, fast charging station adapted to the needs of the Moroccan and African market, received by Mr. Ahmed Haddou, Director of Valorization and Industrialization at the UM6P Green Energy Park.
Made with high-quality materials and CE certified, the iSmart charging station is the result of a research project developed by the Green Energy Park (a joint venture between IRESEN and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University), together with the Moroccan company EDEEP.
The project, which was supported by the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Morocco, started in July 2021 with the inauguration of the production unit in Benguerir.
