African parliamentarians explored research-led green solutions at UM6P
On the 30th of May, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic at its Campus in Benguerir welcomed a delegation of African parliamentarians, along with representatives from Climate Parliament and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
The visit took place in the context of the Parliamentary Green Investment Dialogue, held in Marrakech from May 30 to June 1, and focused on supporting efforts to mobilize climate finance for renewable energy and green industry across the continent.
Discussions at UM6P centered on sustainable green development, with a focus on the university’s approach to applied research, innovation, and international collaboration in the field of sustainability. The exchange provided a platform to explore synergies between academic expertise and legislative action in support of inclusive and low-carbon growth in Africa.
