To assess the health status of patients and analyze care situations; to design and define personalized care projects; to plan, provide and evaluate medical care; to implement treatments.

Nurses provide preventive, curative or palliative care aimed at promoting, maintaining and restoring health; they contribute to health education and the accompaniment of individuals or groups in their care process in line with their life project.

Nurses work as part of a multi-professional team, in facilities and at home, both independently and in collaboration. This highly responsible profession requires rigor, vigilance and technical skills.

The targeted skills have been thought out to guarantee the integration of the learners in the paramedical and medical world and most specifically to bring the versatile nurse to acquire the following skills:

  • Evaluate a clinical situation and establish a diagnosis in the nursing field.
  • Accompany the patient in the implementation of his/her daily care.
  • Implement diagnosis and therapeutic actions.
  • Communicate and conduct a relationship in a care situation.
  • Analyze the quality of care and improve professional practice.
  • Design and conduct a nursing care project.
  • Initiate and implement educational and preventive care.
  • Research and process professional and scientific data.
  • Organize and coordinate care interventions.
  • Inform and train professionals and trainees.

-     Pursuing an academic career towards:

  • A nursing specialization (operating room, follow-up care and rehabilitation, geriatrics, etc.). 
  • A health management diploma.
Admission and Practical Information

ADMISSION

Admission is open to students with a bachelor’s degree in the following fields:

  • Life and Earth Sciences,
  • Physical and Chemical Sciences,
  • Mathematics, Agricultural Sciences.

 

The pre-selected candidates will have to pass:

Written tests:

  • General knowledge
  • Technical tests 

 

Oral tests:

  • Debate on health and social topics.
  • Motivational interview

If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to a written competitive examination followed by an oral interview in keeping with the following schedule:

  • 31st of May : Application deadline

  • June - July : Written examination and oral interview

  • End of July-August : Admission results and receipt of scholarship application files

  • September/Early October : Start of term.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The tuition fees are:

  • Registration fees (first year only): 5,000 MAD

  • Annual tuition fees: 45,000 MAD

Added to this are accommodation fees and catering on campus.
