Built environment and energy sectors explored in carbon assessment workshop

The Green Energy Park, in collaboration with the Moroccan Institute for Standardization (IMANOR), organized a workshop at the Smart & Green Building Park in Benguerir under the theme: “Approaches and Standards for Carbon Footprint Assessment: Perspectives and Advances in Morocco.”

The workshop focused on national methodologies for carbon footprint evaluation, particularly in the built environment and energy sectors. It featured expert presentations, case studies, and discussions on standardized assessment approaches. The event highlighted the importance of standardization in supporting Morocco’s decarbonization goals and climate commitments.
