International conference examined economic challenges of climate transition

From the 15th to the 17th of April, the Faculty of Governance, Economics and Social Sciences (FGSES) hosted the International Conference on “Climate Challenges: Unlocking Opportunities for Sustainable Growth” at University Mohammed VI Polytechnic at its Campus in Rabat.

The opening session included remarks by Dr. Karim El Aynaoui, Executive Vice President of UM6P and Dean of the Humanities, Economics and Social Sciences Cluster, and Professor Ghassane Benmir, Assistant Professor of Economics at IE University and Associate Fellow at UM6P. Discussions addressed the economic dimensions of climate change, with a focus on uncertainty, heterogeneity, and policy responses to promote sustainable and inclusive growth.
