"Rawafid": an enchanting musical evening exploring Morocco's musical treasures

Last week, Maou’root Heritage Center in collaboration with the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco, hosted the musical event “Rawafid”, within UM6P Campus in Benguerir. 

The event, which took place at the UM6P campus in Benguerir, aimed to celebrate the cultural and musical richness of Morocco. Orchestrated by Dar al Oud, the “Rawafid” concert showcased a variety of Moroccan musical genres, ranging from Tarab al-Andaloussi to Malhoun, as well as Hassani and Amazigh music.

The orchestra featuring 24 musicians, performed a rich repertoire, “demonstrating the unique fusion of cultural influences that characterize Moroccan music,” added the organizers.
