UM6P and EDF Renewables Morocco signed an MoU

 

Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) and EDF Renewables Morocco have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore new horizons of development in the fields of Education and Research and Development. This MoU aims to deepen and enhance collaboration between the two parties, which has been initiated for the past year in the field of education, and to extend it to the fields of Mining Operations and Chemical Industry Research and Development.

On this occasion, Mr. Modest KWAPINSKI, CEO of EDF Renewables Morocco, stated: "This Memorandum of Understanding with UM6P represents a true win-win partnership, enabling us to continue cooperation in several areas, particularly education and R&D."

Mr. Amine BOUCHAMA, Director of Business Development at EDF Renewables Morocco, added: "This agreement reaffirms our commitment to creating synergies around supporting UM6P students for the development of new skills. The idea is to supervise the implementation of a recruitment process for interns at the end of their studies at UM6P."

On his part, Mr. Mohamed BOUSSETA, Director of the "Innovate For Industry" entity at UM6P, highlighted that the current context is marked by a strong acceleration towards energy transition, particularly towards green hydrogen and its derivatives. "Thanks to this new framework, UM6P and EDF Renewables will leverage their strengths to strengthen this promising collaboration in the different predefined domains, notably in the renewable energies sector with the objective of enhancing competitiveness in photovoltaic and wind energy production."
