UM6P inaugurates its first international branch: UM6P France
Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) announced the opening of its first international branch in Paris, under the name UM6P France. A Moroccan university, inaugurated in 2017, focused on training and research, with close links to the world of industry and startups. UM6P has taken up the challenge of training a new generation of talent who will build and lead Africa's future, while helping to meet global challenges. Headed by Fahd Benkirane, UM6P France, inaugurated today, aims to be the "bridge" that UM6P intends to create between Morocco and Africa on the one hand, and France and Europe on the other. It will offer executive training and specific support for researchers and innovative entrepreneurs interested in the development of the African continent.
With a main campus in Benguerir, near Marrakech, and campuses in Rabat and Laayoune in Morocco and now in Paris, Université Mohammed VI Polytechnique prioritizes research and innovation relevant to Morocco and Africa, focusing on subjects such as industrialization, food safety, sustainable development, AI, health and economic and social sciences.
