UM6P joined conversations on scaling African ventures at Harvard
This week, UM6P took part in the 27th Annual Africa Business Conference at Harvard Business School through the intervention of M. Khalid Baddou, Director of Institutional Affairs, in a panel on "Diaspora-Driven Entrepreneurship: Bridging Markets and Scaling African Ventures."
Discussions focused on the role of the African diaspora in fostering entrepreneurship, transferring knowledge, and mobilizing investment. M. Baddou highlighted King Mohammed VI’s vision for engaging Moroccan talent abroad and explored business model adaptation, fintech innovations, and university-led initiatives like UM6P Associates and Bridge Africa.
The conversation reinforced the need for long-term partnerships, policy alignment, and investment solutions to support Africa’s entrepreneurial growth.
