UM6P & the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development join forces to foster innovation and green entrepreneurship
On the 27th of March, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic & the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development signed a strategic partnership to foster innovation and green entrepreneurship, within UM6P Campus in Rabat.
The focus of this collaboration includes promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and applied research to create sustainable solutions tailored to Morocco's specific needs, in line with the national policy of energy transition and sustainable development.
Another highlight of the event was the signing of a partnership agreement between UM6P and the “Centrale d'Achat et de Développement de la Région minière du Tafilalet et de Figuig” (CADETAF). The aim is to support research and innovation for the downstream development of value chains for the region's mining products, and their valorization in line with Morocco's industrial policy, as well as the creation of a national center of excellence for artisanal mining and the incubation of mining startups.
