The Act School organized a 6-hour reading marathon across three cities
This week, as part of the MAHIR Network, the ACT School organized a 6-hour reading marathon in partnership with local media libraries in El Jadida, Youssoufia, and Khouribga.
The event gathered 103 participants who collectively read 10,550 pages, averaging 102 pages per participant. The marathons featured works by authors such as Fatima Mernissi, Amin Maalouf, Anne Brontë, and Gabriel García Márquez. In El Jadida, the event also paid tribute to Moroccan writer Driss Chraïbi. Participants engaged in discussions, shared insights, and created written syntheses. ACT School aims to empower Moroccan youth by fostering critical thinking, creativity, and communication.
