The Learning Center explored identity and diplomacy in a masterclass

On the 12^th of November, the Learning Center at UM6P campus in Benguerir hosted a masterclass with author and professor Oumelbanine Zhiri, moderated by Mr. Ali Benmakhlouf.

The event was part of the Cultural Club’s ongoing program for the university community. Mrs. Zhiri, author of Beyond Orientalism: Ahmad ibn Qasim al-Hajari between Europe and North Africa, shared insights on the life and legacy of Ahmad ibn Qasim al-Hajari. She discussed themes of identity, diplomacy, and cultural exchange during a key historical period, offering a new perspective on the interactions between North Africa and Europe.
