Organization of the 2nd edition of the International Campus of Excellence Africa
On the 8th of November, UM6P hosted the 2nd edition of the "International Campus of Excellence Africa," held under the theme "Empowering Advanced Glocal Thinkers."
A keynote session featuring Professor Richard Roberts, recipient of the 1993 Nobel Prize in Medicine, offered an opportunity to gain insights into Professor Roberts’ journey, his contributions to science, and his reflections on achieving excellence in innovation. Professor Roberts, currently Chief Scientific Officer at New England Biolabs, is celebrated for his research in molecular biology, notably for his discovery of gene splicing in human cells that revolutionized genetic research and opened new avenues in the field of genomics.
The event program also featured two additional keynote sessions on agriculture and health, complemented by tree-planting activities and guided visits to the health and agriculture platforms.
