1st African Solar Decathlon Africa in Benguerir

Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University and IRESEN - Solar Energy and New Energies Research Institute are organizing the 1st African edition of the international green building student competition Solar Decathlon Africa, which will conclude in September 2019.
Today, the 20 participating teams, from 54 multidisciplinary universities and 20 different countries, unveiled models of their innovative projects: attractive and affordable energy-efficient housing adapted to the local African climate.
The event was held at the Green Energy Park, a Living Lab of the UM6P.
