AI Mouvement Restructures Its Governance to Strengthen Ethical and Sustainable AI
As part of its evolution, AI Mouvement, an association affiliated to UM6P and recognized as a Category 2 Center by UNESCO, is restructuring its governance.
Mrs. Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, who has served as Executive President since the center’s creation in 2022, has been appointed Honorary President of the association. This appointment recognizes her commitment and pivotal role in establishing and advancing the center.
Mrs. Btissam El Khamlichi, an AI professor at the center, has been named General Director of the Association. Specializing in AI applied to sustainable resources, she will lead key projects, particularly the development of ethical AI solutions for sustainable development in Africa.
With a research and training structure comprising over 30 AI specialists, cutting-edge research projects, and international partnerships, AI Mouvement at UM6P is dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence on the continent. Its ambition is to position Africa as a key player in ethical and inclusive AI.
