CEEC delegation visited UM6P to discuss mining and sustainability projects

On the 17th of December, GSMI hosted a delegation from the Center for Expertise, Evaluation, and Certification (CEEC) at UM6P’s campus in Benguerir.

Discussions focused on potential collaboration between the two institutions, emphasizing knowledge transfer, capacity-building initiatives, mining operations, and strategic projects aligned with CEEC's objectives. The visit included a tour of UM6P, providing an overview of academic programs and research initiatives, as well as an exploration of GSMI’s advanced laboratories, showcasing technologies and methodologies addressing challenges in geosciences and mining sustainability.

This visit marked a step toward fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, opening opportunities for joint initiatives supporting sustainable development.
