The Centre for African Studies is a teaching and research center of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, located in Benguerir, Morocco. This center is devoted to studies relating to the African continent. It focuses on three areas :
- Promoting studies carried out on the continent.
- Documenting studies on Africa produced elsewhere.
- To teach studies that enable us to see the world from Africa's point of view.
Five areas of research in particularly are developed:
- Anthropology
- Environment
- Health
- History
- Philosophy
