FUERTES closing ceremony held at UM6P Campus in Benguerir

On October 10th, within UM6P's Learning Center, the FUERTES (Femmes Unies Ensemble pour la Recherche, la Technologie, l’Environnement et la Science) closing ceremony unfolded. A morning of unparalleled innovation and inspiration, orchestrated by the ESAFE Team.

This event represents a testament to the collaborative spirit of the Mujeres por Africa Foundation, OCP Foundation, UM6P, and USSEIN, was marked by the presence of Her Excellency María Teresa Fernández and the esteemed Dean of USSEIN, Pr. Coumba Touré Kane, lending a regal touch to the occasion.

The ceremony was a platform for aspiring female scientists to showcase their talents, with five outstanding projects selected and passionately pitched. This event marked a significant milestone in the journey to foster gender diversity in STEM, marking a positive impact that FUERTES had on women in science in Senegal.
