Green Energy Park explored AI and energy transition at COP 29 in Baku
On the 14th of November, the Green Energy Park organized a side event titled "AI at the Service of Smart Grids: Driving Climate Resilience, Renewable Integration & Energy Efficiency" during COP 29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The panel discussed topics in the energy sector, including the role of hydrogen in the energy transition, decentralized energy systems for grid stability, and advanced monitoring technologies. Challenges around integrating electric mobility and the water-energy nexus were also explored. The session concluded with insights into how Artificial Intelligence can optimize these areas to develop more resilient and sustainable smart grids.
