Olive production and biorefinery challenges discussed at MSN seminars

From the 28th to the 31st of January, students from the Post Graduate Advanced Master of Engineering/Philosophy in Energy, Materials, and Entrepreneurship (MEME) at the MSN Department of UM6P, in collaboration with IMT Atlantique, attended a series of seminars led by Professors Audrey Villot, Claire Gerente, and Yves Andres.

The sessions focused on sustainability, decarbonization, and biorefinery innovations. Discussions covered topics, including the role of biochar and carbon credits in olive biorefinery, water challenges in sustainable production, and bioprocess solutions for industrial decarbonization. The seminars concluded with student project presentations, fostering knowledge exchange on innovative approaches in biorefinery technologies.
