Students & researchers participated in the 2nd edition of the Summer School UM6P - Centre SEVE of Sherbrooke University in Canada

 

From the 24th of June to the 3rd of July, the second edition of the summer school UM6P-Centre SEVE of Sherbrooke University took place in Canada.

The event involved 17 master’s and PhD students, including 9 from UM6P’s African Genome Center and the College for Sustainable Agriculture and Environmental Science. It broadened participants' research on plant biology, facilitated networking, and offered cultural immersion for global perspectives.

Activities included scientific presentations and visits to institutions like the University of Sherbrooke, Bishop’s University, a biotechnology company, Canada Agriculture and Agri-Food Research Centre, the Laurentides Biological Station, the Institute of Research in Plant Biology, and the Montreal Botanical Gardens.
