UM6P and CNSS signed a partnership agreement to support the national project for the healthcare generalization
UM6P and the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) signed, on June 16, 2021 in Benguerir, a partnership agreement to strengthen their collaboration aimed at conducting studies and research on social protection and all other areas of common interest.
Signed by Hassan Boubrik, Director General of the CNSS and Hicham El Habti, President of UM6P, the partnership agreement is based on various areas of cooperation.
This partnership, which aims to put innovation and applied research to the benefit of the optimization and analysis of data produced by the CNSS, will focus on three major areas of collaboration:
1- Big Data and the exploitation of data for the implementation of strategic intelligence and decision-making tools,
2- Applied research,
3- Training, knowledge sharing and mentoring.
The first axis of collaboration aims at setting up a program consisting in enriching the exploitation of Big-Data according to the needs of the CNSS and the problems of the researchers and PhD students of the UM6P.
At the level of the second axis which is applied research, a research program will be co-constructed following the networking of CNSS and UM6P experts around common concerns of both parties.
This partnership will also allow, at the level of the third axis, to design an ambitious training or training-action system targeting specific issues related to social protection, forecasting methods and foresight of the various schemes, evaluation of the effects of the generalization of social protection, micro-simulation models of the effects of social and sectoral policies, etc.
The UM6P ecosystem, which includes its Data Center, the most powerful supercomputer in Africa, and several research laboratories for modeling, simulation, data analysis, and artificial intelligence, will mobilize talent, resources, and infrastructure for the implementation of projects undertaken by the CNSS at the national level for the generalization of medical coverage.
