The Ministry of National Education, Professional Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Department of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the OCP Foundation and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) have signed a framework agreement sealing the contours of a strategic partnership.
This partnership is part of the efforts made by the three partners to strengthen the development of scientific research and innovation in Morocco, enhance the results of research, and promote digitalization and distance education.

The ambition of this strategic partnership is to contribute to making Morocco a pole of innovation and R&D at the service of the development of the Kingdom and the continent. The Ministry will capitalize on the achievements of recent reforms and developments in the national higher education and scientific research system.
The OCP Foundation will support the initiatives taken within the framework of this partnership.

In this sense, this partnership notably provides for the launch of a new R&D fund aimed at boosting applied research as well as the creation of a "National Center for Digitalization and Distance Education", by capitalizing on the know-how and the resources developed by the UM6P.

The framework partnership agreement was signed by Mr. Saaïd Amzazi, Minister of National Education, Professional Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Driss Ouaouicha, Minister Delegate in charge of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Mr. Mostafa Terrab, President of the OCP Foundation and the UM6P.
