UM6P hosted a delegation from the Union of Family Agro-Pastoral Farms of Senegal

On the 21^st October, UM6P hosted a delegation from the Union of Family Agro-Pastoral Farms of Senegal* to its campus in Benguerir.

During this visit, the delegation had the opportunity to learn about the University’s agriculture projects and cooperative intitatives and to exchange knowledge with representatives from the ecosystem. Within this context, the delegation paid a visit to the college of agriculture, the phenotyping platform as well as the experimental farm.

*The Union of Family Agro-Pastoral Farms of Senegal is an organization that represents family farms involved in agro-pastoral activities. It aims to promote sustainable agricultural practices, advocate for members' interests, and enhance livelihoods through capacity building and improved access to resources and markets.
